Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say an Ashville man appeared in federal court Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to charges related to the filming of child sex acts.
Michael Sollenberger, 41, was charged in 2020 after investigators discovered a video of him reportedly raping a young girl.
Authorities say Sollenberger admitted to taking naked photographs of a young female, between the ages of 8 and 10-years-old.
Investigators say he also confessed to touching the young girl and performing sex acts with her, and that he recorded a video of one of the acts.
Authorities say Sollenberger entered a guilty plea to three counts, including the production and possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Officials say Sollenberger faces a minimum of 35 years in prison and he is scheduled to be sentenced in late November.
