CLEARFIELD CO, Pa (WJAC) — The Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills, Clearfield County is asking for donations for their annual July fourth fireworks display.
The entertainment committee says the goal is to raise $5,000.
The fire company is also hosting a chicken barbecue to help with fundraising.
The fire company's president says they want to offer entertainment to residents in what could be a non-eventful summer.
"A lot of people are not looking forward to what's going to happen this summer with things going on. A lot of people are closing, stopping different things and we're just trying to do it as safe as we can, and still have it, so people have something to enjoy this summer,” said Adam Barnett.
The BBQ dinner is scheduled for Saturday May 23rd, from noon to 4 p.m., and will cost $10 per meal.
Anyone who plans to make a check donation should make it payable to "Osceola Mills fireworks,” Barnett adds.
