CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Do you recognize these barks? That's what Clearfield County emergency authorities are asking after several dogs were heard barking over police radios at the 911 center.
Authorities posted a clip of the barking to their Facebook page Tuesday morning.
Officials say the dogs can be heard at different times of the day. They believe the interference is coming from the area of Clearfield, Lawrence Township.
Authorities believe the interference is from a radio program error and that the owner is not acting on purpose.
According to the Facebook post, radio specialists are working to find the radio causing the issues and will contact the Federal Communication Commission if needed.
Anyone who recognizes the barking dogs is asked to call the county non-emergency number at 814-765-1533.
