Teen killed in Route 96 crash in Schellsburg

UPDATE:BEDFORD CO, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a 17-year-old male was killed in Friday night's crash along Route 96 in Schellsburg. According to a crash report, the teen was traveling northbound, just before 10:30 p.m., when he swerved to miss debris on the roadway, lost control, and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound. Troopers say the teen was pronounced dead at the scene and that the driver of the other vehicle was transported to Conemaugh Hospital with minor injuries. [Read More]

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) – Chick-fil-A in Altoona invited firefighters to eat for free Wednesday. Franchise co-owner Jessica Burgmeier said firefighters have their choice of either a free chicken sandwich or eight-count breaded nugget item. Johnstown woman who lied about having cancer sentenced to probation
