Woman charged in fatal overdose of Stonycreek Township man

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Police say a New Florence woman is facing charges in Cambria County for the overdose death of a man in December. Police say on December 15th, 52-year-old Kevin Cooper died of a drug overdose in the basement of his Stonycreek Township home. Police say 39-year-old Tabatha Boring is alleged to have supplied Cooper with the drugs, which he believed was cocaine. Toxicology reports indicate that drugs were actually fentanyl and xylazine. Altoona man confessed to fatally stabbing mother after leap from parking garage: Police

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE #4: Police say an Altoona man fatally stabbed his mother in the neck during an argument. Altoona police provided new details Thursday surrounding the murder of 61-year-old Maureen Mazenko. Police say they were called to the 200 block of E. Maple Avenue where they found Mazenko dead in the living room of the residence. Police say Joshua Leyo lived there with his mother. Homicide investigation launched after 6 bodies found in Mojave Desert

EL MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) — Deputies found the bodies of six people at a remote dirt crossroads in the Mojave Desert, a scene described as so grisly that Southern California TV stations blurred some of the images captured by their helicopters overhead.
