RIDGWAY - Four boys were playing basketball on Sunday when an unexpected player joined them.
"He was driving along the street and he asked if we wanted him to play PIG and we said yes," 8-year-old Joel Neureiter said. "He said whoever wins gets ice cream and then we were playing and having fun," 12-year-old Aaron Hoy said. "The cop won so he said he'll buy everyone ice cream."

UNDATED (WKRC) - Toyota has recalled over 100,000 top-selling vehicles. Toyota announced the recall of around 102,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles. According to the company, it is possible that machining debris, which may not have been cleared from the engine when it was produced, can lead to engine knocking, the vehicle running rough, the engine failing to start or a loss of power. A loss of power at higher speeds can increase the risk of a crash.

Tyrone man, 18, accused of inappropriately touching 14-year-old girl
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Tyrone Police Department say a local 18-year-old is facing charges after he was accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl over the weekend.
Police say on Friday night, they received a complaint that Derrick Little, 18, had sexually assaulted a female juvenile and that the assault was reportedly witnessed by two other teenagers.
According to the affidavit, Little and the three teens had reportedly went to a friend's house in Tyrone on Friday evening.

Cambria County, PA — A family is heartbroken and a judge is furious following the preliminary hearing for Michael Lyles Jr. He is accused of shooting and killing 38-year-old Candace Mervin in a Hornerstown home.
The preliminary hearing for Lyles took place at the Cambria county central park complex. He is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and child endangerment.
The defendant was heard by judge Kevin Price, in Johnstown.

Dubois Central, Johnsonburg win District 9 baseball titles Monday
DUBOIS -- Monday was a busy one for local baseball and softball.
In District 9 baseball action, Johnsonburg captured the AA championship with a win over Kane, while DuBois Central did the same with a win over Elk County Catholic in Single-A.
In softball play, DuBois Central captured the Single-A championship with a win over Clarion-Limestone, and Punxsutawney followed suit in AAA with a defeat of Karns City.

DETROIT (AP) — Nissan is urging the owners of about 84,000 older vehicles to stop driving them because their Takata air bag inflators have an increased risk of exploding in a crash and hurling dangerous metal fragments.
Wednesday's urgent request comes after one person in a Nissan was killed by an exploding front-passenger inflator, and as many as 58 people were injured since 2015.

Taxi driver robbed at gunpoint in Johnstown; robbers still at large
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown police are searching for two men after a taxi driver said he was robbed at gunpoint.
According to police, the robbery happened on Corrine Avenue just before 1 a.m. Monday after two men called for a cab.
According to a police report, the driver said when he arrived at the destination, one of the men got into the front seat and pulled a gun on him.

Crash shuts down southbound lanes of Rt. 219 in Somerset County
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — SECOND UPDATE |
Officials are releasing the identity of the victim in a fatal crash on Route 219 Friday evening.
Somerset County Deputy Coroner Alexis Lichty says 85-year-old Charles Holsinger was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Lichty says a woman was taken to a medical facility for her injuries suffered in the crash.
No autopsy was performed on Holsinger officials say.
