CLEARFIELD, Pa. — The Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) hosted its first Signing Day Thursday to recognize students for their plans after graduation.
About 40 students from CCCTC signed letters of intent with a college related to their trades or a future employer.

PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Steelers made several key roster moves on Monday.
Along with the decision to "mutually part ways" with quarterback Mitch Trubisky, Pittsburgh also announced that offensive tackle Chuks Okorafor and punter Pressley Harvin III have been cut from the team.
Harvin was drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 draft, while Okorafor was selected in the third round in 2018.
Both players faced heavy criticism during their time on the Steelers for what some considered to be subpar performances.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say an Ashville man appeared in federal court Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to charges related to the filming of child sex acts.
Michael Sollenberger, 41, was charged in 2020 after investigators discovered a video of him reportedly raping a young girl.
Authorities say Sollenberger admitted to taking naked photographs of a young female, between the ages of 8 and 10-years-old.
Investigators say he also confessed to touching the young girl and performing sex acts with her, and that he recorded a video of one of the acts.

UPDATE:Cambria County, PA — The manner of death for the 18-year-old male involved in a drowning at the local Holiday Inn, located on the 200 block of Market Street, in downtown Johnstown, has been ruled as accidental, by Cambria county coroner Jeff Lees.
Lees says there were no other factors found to be in play for the man's death.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — According to search warrants obtained by 6 News, police say the driver who crashed Monday night in Dale Borough was reportedly shot in the head prior to the rollover accident. Authorities say first responders were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. Monday, to the intersection of David Street and Messenger Street, for reports of a single-vehicle rollover crash with two occupants entrapped.
Johnstown police say officers later learned that the driver, a female, had reportedly been shot in the head prior to crashing the car.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — A local pest control worker has been charged after police say he was caught on camera urinating inside a Cambria County family's living room.
Authorities with the Hastings Borough Police Department have filed charges against the owner of Young's Pest Control, 67-year-old Roger Young, after he allegedly admitted to the incident, which police say was caught on the family's home surveillance camera.
Police say on April 24th, Young was reportedly contacted to spray pesticides inside the residence, located at the Haida Village Apartments.

Watertown animal control picked up two black vultures who were in bad shape over the weekend.
