FCC revokes license of Somerset Co. radio host Roger Wahl
Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — An update now to the ongoing legal battle between the FCC and Somerset County radio personality Roger Wahl.
According to an order that was made public last week, the FCC has officially revoked Wahl's license.
In 2020, Wahl pleaded guilty to several charges related to a criminal investigation in which police say that he tried to solicit strangers to rape his female friend by setting up a fake, online dating profile.

Interim city manager appointed until long-term replacement is found

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — In the first day of testimony, ESPN broadcaster Erin Andrews' father took the stand to describe his daughter's reaction to a naked video leaked on the internet by a peeping Tom. She is suing the hotel for damages related to the incident.

Boil-water advisory issued for Ebensburg area
EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A boil-water advisory has been issued for the Ebensburg area.
According to the Ebensburg Municipal Authority, a water-line break on South Center Street has caused high levels of cloudiness, known as turbidity, in the water.
Officials with the water company say they cannot confirm when the advisory will be lifted.
According to officials, turbidity by itself has no health effects, but may indicate the presence of disease-causing organisms that can cause nausea, cramps, diarrhea and headaches.

Galliker's Dairy receives DQ 'Vendor of the Year' award
Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Johnstown-based Galliker's Dairy Company announced Wednesday that the company recently received the International Dairy Queen U.S. Dairy Vendor of the Year award.
Galliker's said it recently accepted the award at the annual DQ Supply Chain Summit.
The award "recognizes vendors in the U.S. and Canada that have demonstrated exemplary partnership with IDQ and its network of independent franchise owners who own and operate DQ restaurants."
Galliker's Dairy has been in business for over 100 years and supplies a wide variety of milk, iced tea and other dairy products.

Localized flooding causing road closures throughout the area
Emergency officials throughout our area have received numerous calls for flooded roadways as heavy rainfall continues to fall.
Multiple rounds of heavy rain have moved through the area over the past few days. Most of the region has picked up over 2.5 inches of rain in just the past day, prompting flood watches, warnings, and advisories.
