DEP expert takes questions on biosolids usage in Benner Township

BENNER TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A Department of Environmental Protection expert was on hand Monday night at the Bellefonte Borough Council meeting. Downtown Pittsburgh bridge closed indefinitely after fire

PITTSBURGH - Officials say a major bridge into downtown Pittsburgh is closed after a fire that began on a construction tarp. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said the Liberty Bridge is closed indefinitely while state transportation inspectors examine the damage from a Friday afternoon blaze. Crews are conducting an $80 million reconstruction project on the bridge. Police seek suspects involved in Cambria Co. Dairy Queen burglary

EAST TAYLOR TWP, Pa. (WJAC) — State police are looking for two men who they say burglarized a Dairy Queen in East Taylor Township earlier this month. Police say the two men broke into the restaurant at 2026 William Penn Highway Feb. 17 around 3 a.m. and stole two cash registers, money, food and a television. Police say one of the men is black with a goatee and the other is white, was wearing eyeglasses and also had a goatee. [Read More]
