Penn State tight end Theo Johnson declares for NFL Draft

Penn State tight end Theo Johnson announced on social media Friday that he will declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.

The fourth-year junior has played in 44 career games with the Nittany Lions, hauling in 75 receptions for 922 yards and 11 touchdowns.

While Johnson has found success on the field as one of Penn State's premiere pass catchers, he also made headlines off the field for his alleged involvement in an altercation at a fraternity party in February.

Johnson noted that he does plan to play in the Peach Bowl later this month when the Nittany Lions take on Ole Miss.
