UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa (WJAC) — Penn State announced Wednesday that it will begin issuing refunds to students for room and board costs, as well as for unused meal plan dollars, according to a release on the university's website.
University officials say any students who did not return to campus for the remote-learning period will have their refunds processed during the first week of April, and refunds for those students who left campus after the remote-learning period will be processed beginning on April 13.
"All unspent spring semester Dining Dollars will also be refunded," officials add, including for off-campus students who purchased meal plans and those students who commute.
The refunds will be credited to each student's LionPATH account, according to the university's Housing and Food Service Department.
